IMAGE DETAILS
Messier 13 (M13, NGC6205) is a popular globular cluster among amateur astronomers situated in the constellation of Hercules. It is one of many globular cluster's in the Milky Way (there's thought to be at least 149), and are some of the most ancient objects in our galaxy, ranging in age up to 15 billion years old.
In this image there are also two spiral galaxies, NGC6207 (magnitude 12.10) (left hand side) and IC4617(magnitude 16.00)(between M13 and NGC6207).
