All the images on this page have been photographed from in and around Quarter on the outskirts of Hamilton. The latest aurora from the night of the 7th, morning of the 8th November 2004 and the night of the 9th November are at the top of the page. The latter images are from the spectacular display from 2003 when the aurora was reported as far south as Spain and Italy. For real time monitoring of any geomagnetic activity I'd highly recommend visiting  AuroraWatch (SAMNET) from time to time or Space Weather for up to date news on Solar activity.
